United Nations Day Celebration at East Airport International School
On 24th October 2025, the campus of East Airport International School (EAIS) came alive with excitment and colour as students and teachers gathered to celebrate United Nations Day. It was a day filled with learning, laughter, and global pride, a true reflection of EAIS’s vision as one of the leading international schools in Ghana.
A Parade of Nations
The celebration began with a spectacular fashion show where students proudly represented countries from across the world. Each outfit told a story — from rich African prints and elegant Asian attire to classic European styles. The runway sparkled with smiles and confidence as students showcased their creativity and cultural pride.

Taste of the World
Next came the food show, a highlight for everyone. Tables were filled with dishes representing different continents — from Ghanaian jollof and Nigerian puff-puff to Italian pasta and Chinese spring rolls. Also, parents and teachers joined in the tasting, making it not just a culinary adventure but also a lesson in diversity and appreciation.

Learning Through Culture
Each classroom was beautifully transformed into a mini cultural exhibition, showcasing flags, artifacts, crafts, and fun facts about various countries. Students led presentations, sharing what they had learned about traditions, values, and global cooperation. Walking through the halls felt like traveling the world — without leaving the school.

A Spirit of Unity
Throughout the day, there was a strong sense of togetherness. Students learned that, just like the United Nations, our strength as a global community lies in unity, respect, and understanding. The event reminded everyone that every culture adds something beautiful to the world’s story.

Looking Ahead
UN Day 2025 at EAIS was more than a celebration — it was a powerful experience that encouraged global thinking and cultural appreciation. East Airport International School continues to inspire its students to see themselves as global citizens, ready to make a difference wherever they go.
